Galette des rois at the Ambassador's residence

Members of the French-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry had the pleasure of being welcomed to the Residence of the French Ambassador to Croatia, Mr. Fabien Fieschi, for a convivial tasting of the traditional galette des rois.

Deeply rooted in French culture, the galette des rois is enjoyed each year in January to celebrate Epiphany. This puff-pastry cake, filled with almond cream, hides a small figurine (la fève). The person who finds it in their slice is crowned king or queen for the day, a tradition that symbolizes sharing and conviviality. 

We warmly thank His Excellency the French Ambassador for his generous hospitality and for offering our members this moment of cultural exchange, which  reflects the spirit of friendship and cooperation between France and Croatia.
